Stop Motion Animation

Cassie Disharoon and I created this stop motion video entitled “Lost and Found.” The plot has our main character, Chad, looking for his pet, known only as Little Guy. Chad sees that he ran away and needs to go catch up to him. Along the way, without realizing, Chad passes Little Guy completely. It’s possible Chad is still out looking for him while Little Guy follows his car to this day. We used sound effects and a soundtrack as a simple but effective means of communicating the upbeat mood of the piece. We also enjoyed experimenting with the different objects such as simple drawings of scenery and toys to convey a cheery and comical plot.
